Free Presentation: Healthy Backyards with Wild North

Healthy Backyards, presented by Wild North, is a one-hour-long, free, environmental education program being hosted at Ridgewood Community Hall. Customized to the Ridgewood area, community members will be taught about:

  • What species are present in our area (both plants and animals)
  • The role each species plays in the ecosystem and how they depend on one another
  • How to peacefully coexist with wildlife and how to have healthy interactions
  • What to do if you encounter an injured, ill or orphaned animal
  • What we can do everyday in our own backyards to help wildlife, promote biodiversity, and support a healthy ecosystem
  •
The doors will open at 10:45 am, with the presentation will run from 11 am to 12 pm. The hall will be kept open until 1 pm to allow attendees to sit and chat about the presentation afterwards if they’d like.

Please check out more info here here, and please RSVP here so we know how many would like to attend.
